Bert has worked organizing pedagogical programs, supporting faculty initiatives and helped medical students navigate their training while trying to make their experience better. He is very passionate about his work and strives to do it right. However he understands the importance of a positive attitude and how it can affect overall well being.
He is the handler of a smooth coat Brussels Griffon named Brooklyn who is a trained therapy animal. When not at work he often can be found with Brooklyn, volunteering their time by visiting with stressed college students before final exams or visiting the ill who need a little TLC.
He is not afraid of new challenges and is now looking to embark on the next chapter of his career.
